When I first started
to take
photos of my friends...they
were first nudes stills and of my intimate friends.
How else could you get someone to relax or warm up to the photographer...the bright lights, and without feeling uncomfortable with a big camera in your face...and totally nude!
I guess later I got to photographed anyone who was bold and daring...they would show up even with their dogs!
Then I would use slow shutters speeds and multiple exposures with tricky modeling lights and a hot lamp.
THE IMAGES WERE DEVELOPED BY MYSELF, THEN PRINTED IN MY OWN DARKROOM AROUND THE LATE 1990'S...SINCE 2011 THESE HAVE BEEN SLIGHTLY ADJUSTED AND MADE WARMER ON A MAC.
